Magellan Maestro 4210 Battery Installation Instructions

The following Magellan Maestro 4210 Battery Replacement Instruction guide can be used for the:

Magellan Maestro 4210

1. To begin turn your Magellan Maestro 4210 over and remove the 4 rubber caps to reveal the 4 four screws.

2. Remove the four screws on the back.

3. Using the pry tool carefully pry apart the front of the device.

4. Disconnect the ribbon cable by prying up the plastic retainer.

5. Remove the 2 screws securing the circuit board.

6.Pry off the circuit board gently.

7. Pry the original battery up and disconnect the original battery.

8. Replace the original Magellan Maestro 4210 Battery with one from BatteryShip.com and connect the new battery.

9. Replace the circuit board and screw the circuit board back in place.

10. Connect the front cover to the circuit board.

11. Close the case and turn the Magellan Maestro 4210 over on its face.

12. Replace the 4 screws and the rubber caps.

13. Charge your new Magellan Maestro 4210 Battery for 4 hours.

The following Magellan Maestro 4200 Battery Replacement Instruction guide can be used for the:

Magellan Maestro 4200

1. To begin turn your Magellan Maestro 4200 over and remove the 4 rubber caps to reveal the 4 four screws.

2. Remove the four screws on the back.

3. Using the pry tool carefully pry apart the front of the device.

Garmin Nuvi 700 Battery Installation Instructions

The following Garmin Nuvi 700 Battery Replacement Instruction guide can be used for the following models:

Garmin Nuvi 700 Battery

1. Begin by turning your nuvi 700 face down.

2. On the back near the bottom there will be 2 small screws. Remove those screws with the T4 screw driver provided.

3. Next using the pry tool provided separate the housing case being sure to separate all around the Garmin.

4. Lift up the front portion of the nuvi being careful not to fully separate the two parts as the battery connector and the speaker connector will be attached and connected. Lift just enough to see the battery and the connectors.

(At this point you have 2 options at this point – either disconnect both the speaker wire connector and the battery connector to full separate both halves or simply disconnect the battery cable. You can do whatever is easier for you.)

5. Now disconnect the old battery and remove. There may be some adhesive glue holding down the old battery so you may need to gently pry the old battery up.

6. Insert the new Garmin Nuvi 700 battery. There is only one way to put the new battery in – the red wire will face the top. Now reconnect the battery (and if you disconnected the speaker then reconnect the speaker cable).

7. Now close the housing being careful to not pinch the wires. Click the housing together.

8. Now screw the 2 screws back on place using the T4.

9. Charge your new battery for 4 hours and then turn on to use your Garmin Nuvi 700.

TomTom One 130S Battery Replacement Instructions

The following TomTom One 130 S Battery Replacement Instruction guide can be used for the following models:

TomTom One 130S Battery

1. Begin by removing the faceplate to reveal four screws. To remove the faceplate use the pry tool to lift the face plate up.

2. Remove the four screws using your screw drivers included in your tool kit.

3. Next carefully lift the screen mount plate and rubber shield around the screen off your screen. Lifting from the base of the screen will help accomplish this. Use your pry tool to accomplish this.

4. To access the battery you will need to remove the three screws securing the TomTom's circuit board. One of the screws is under the screen's ribbon cable.

5. Once the circuit board screws are removed you will be able to carefully lift the circuit board and disconnect the battery cable from the board.

6. Once the battery cable is disconnected you can gently pry out the original battery.

7. Connect the new TomTom One 130S Battery and place into the battery compartment (where you took the original out of). It would be helpful to secure the new battery with a strip of double sided tape.

8. Replace the circuit board to its original position and replace the circuit board screws.

9. Replace the screen on top of the circuit board.

10. Replace the screen shield and the screen mount plate around and onto of the screen.

11. Replace the 4 screws you removed in step 2.

12. Attach the faceplate of your TomTom.

13. Charge your battery for a four hours. Then turn on your TomTom.

TomTom XXL IQ Battery Replacement Instructions

The following TomTom One Battery Replacement Instruction guide can be used for the following models:

TomTom XXL IQ Battery

1. Begin by lifting the ends of the label up off your TomTom (this will be on the bottom). You can use the prytool that comes in the kit to do this. The 2 screws are under the ends of the label (one screw under each end).

2. Remove the screws using your torx drivers included in your tool kit.

3. Once the two screws are removed taky your pry tool and insert between the two halves of the Tom Tom and run it around the edge of the TomTom to help separate the two sides. Once you work all the way around the TomTom you will be able to separate the two halves. Please be careful to not pull the two sides to far apart as they are connected by a ribbon cable on the inside. This ribbon cable does not need to be removed to see the battery.

4. In order to gain access to the battery you must remove the three screws securing the circuit board.

5 Once the screws are removed you will be able to carefully lift the circuit board and disconnect the battery cable to the board.

6. Once the battery cable is disconnected you can pry out the original battery.

7. Connect the new TomTom XXL IQ Battery and place into the battery compartment (where you took the original out of).

8. Replace the circuit board and screws.

9. Then put the two halves together. The two sides will snap gently into place.

10. Replace the 2 screws you removed in step 2 and smooth down the label.

11. Charge your battery for a four hours. Then turn on your TomTom.

TomTom One Battery Replacement Instructions

The following TomTom One Battery Replacement Instruction guide can be used for the following models:

TomTom One

1. Begin by laying the TomTom One on its face and remove the four Torx size screws from rear using a proper Torx bit.

2. Next – carefully insert the pry tool between one side of the black back cover and the silver front to a depth of NO MORE than 3 to 4mm. Start to pry the back cover away. Continue working down the side. Repeat for the other side. If necessary also pry at the center of the top. The rear black cover will be released. Take care not to pull it away, as there are two sets of wires with miniature connectors, connecting the battery and loudspeaker on the back cover to the main unit.

3. Once the two halves are apart and laying next to each other, gently disconnect the battery.

4. The battery is secured in the battery recess with a very sticky pad underneath. using the pry tool lift the battery out (remember the battery is held on by an adhesive so you will need to work here a little). Gradually pull the battery away working from side to side. Don’t rush this or damage to the back cover could occur. Retain the sticky pad for reuse, replacing it in the recess.

5. Position the new TomTom One battery into the recess making sure the wire leads exits the recess at the bottom (loudspeaker side) corner.

6. Carefully reconnect the the new battery plugs to the main unit.

7. Replace the two halves of the TomTom and gently snap shut.

8. Replace the 4 screws.

9. Charge your battery for a four hours. Then turn on your TomTom.

Garmin Nuvi 255W Battery Replacement Instructions

The following Garmin Nuvi 255W Battery Replacement Instruction guide can be used for the following models:

Garmin Nuvi 255W Battery

1. Garmin has hidden the first 2 screws underneath the Nuvi's label. Remove the lable to reveal the 2 screws.

2. Remove the two screws.

3. Using the pry tool sepearte the Garmin nuvi working your way around – this will release the power button cover – remove the button cover.

4. Remove the three screws securing the circuit board.

5. Carefully lift up the circuit board to reveal the battery's wire and connector.

6. Disconnect the original battery.

7. Use the pry tool to lift up the original battery. The original battery is held in place by an adhesive. After you remove the original battery you may need to add some more adhesive to hold your new battery in place. Double sided tap can do the trick.

8. Place the new Garmin Nuvi 255W battery from Batteryship.com into the battery compartment and connect the battery into the socket you removed the original from.

9. Replace the circuit board to its original position and screw back in.

10. Reposition the power button cover

11. Gently snap the device shut.

12. Screw the 2 screw back into the casing of the device.

13. Place the label back to its orginal postion to cover the 2 screws and charge the Nuvi for at least 4 hours.

Garmin Nuvi 1260W Battery Installation Instructions

The following Garmin Nuvi 1260W Battery Replacement Instruction guide can be used for the following models:

Garmin Nuvi 1260W Battery

1. To begin remove the Garmin Nuvi 1260W faceplate using the prytool. Slide the prytool in between the grey faceplate and the rest of the Garmin. It will snap off once the tool slides all the way around.

2. Remove the 4 screws around each corner of the Garmin.

3. Carefully open the device. Use your prytool to help separate the Garmin in one corner then use your fingers to carefully pull apart the Garmin. Disconnect the old battery and lift up the battery.

4. Now gently lift the screen of the Garmin using your prytool. Please note that the screen is connected by a ribbon cable. So do not separate or pull the screen too hard or too far away from the Garmin as you could destroy the cable. As you do gently lift the screen you will see the battery. You only need to lift the screen enough to see and remove the old battery.

5. Disconnect the old battery. Using the prytool here may be helpful lifting the old battery out. The old battery will be glued with a light adhesive so gentle strength may need to be applied.

6. Place your your new Garmin Nuvi 1260W Battery and connect it.

7. Close up the Garmin screen.

8. Gently snap the Garmin shut and replace the 4 screws you recently removed in step 2.

9. Snap back on the Garmin's faceplate.

10. Charge your new Garmin Nuvi 1260W Battery for 4 hours and then turn on.

Garmin Nuvi 1260 Battery Installation Instructions

The following Garmin Nuvi 1260 Battery Replacement Instruction guide can be used for the following models:
